FAST AND FURIOUS

Olympic Distance

As the name suggests, this is the classic Olympic distance. Short enough to ensure extremely high speeds in all disciplines for the top athletes, but also long enough to become a real endurance challenge. 1.5 km of swimming, 38,5 km of cycling and 10 final kilometres of running.

IN THE STUBENBERGSEE

Swim: 1500 m

The swim course traditionally leads over one lap in the triangular course and is swum counterclockwise. From the start right next to the finish line, you walk along the shore towards the other side of the lake. There it goes twice 90 degrees to the left back to the transition zone. A total of 1500 meters will be swum. The entire swim course is very well visible.

AROUND THE APFELLAND

Bike: 38,5 km

The bike route follows a selective route through the beautiful natural surroundings of the Stubenberg Gorge. Two loops await you as a shuttle route on closed roads, which are wide and easy to ride. These are dotted with countless hills, but without steep ramps or technically difficult descents. The longest climb is 0.7km with 30m of elevation gain. In total, these add up to a challenging 415m of elevation gain over 38.5km, which, with six turnaround points, also has a real short-distance feel.
